Tulsa Healthcare Associate Attorney

Conner & Winters is seeking a motivated associate attorney to join our Health Care practice group. Ideal candidates will have exceptional writing, analytical, and organizational skills. This role is open to recent graduates with outstanding academic credentials from an accredited law school along with an interest in health law, and lateral attorneys with a combination of experience in healthcare law, regulatory law, transactional law, and/or litigation.
General Expectations
- Identify and analyze legal issues and present clear recommendations, while assuring legal compliance
- This position will involve application of a broad range of healthcare laws, including compliance requirements, fraud and abuse, licensing, HIPAA and privacy laws, pharmacy laws, provider/payor issues, and administrative law
- Candidates should have a strong interest in healthcare law
- In addition to operations and compliance issues, this position offers opportunities for both transactional and litigation experience
- Familiarity and experience with healthcare law and administrative law preferred
- Also preferred:
o Familiarity with litigation and administrative procedures including rules of civil procedure and administrative law
o Knowledge of general corporate matters, including business formation and organization, corporate compliance and governance and mergers and acquisitions - Collaborate closely with other Firm attorneys
- Perform administrative functions related to the practice of law
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree from ABA accredited law school
- Admitted to practice or eligible to practice in the State of
Oklahoma, or willingness to take the next available bar exam in the State of Oklahoma
