Civil Litigation Attorney (Torts & Insurance)
Tulsa, Oklahoma
Conner & Winters is seeking a civil litigation senior Associate or junior Partner with 5 to 10 years of experience to join our Tulsa, OK office. Conner & Winters offers opportunities for assisted business development and advancement within the firm, along with a competitive salary.
General Expectations
- Experience in tort and insurance litigation on behalf of insureds, large self-insureds and insurance carriers. Trial experience is a plus.
- Experience preparing pleadings, motions, and discovery, along with researching and briefing issues, conducting fact investigation, and preparing clients for depositions, mediations, motion hearings, and trials.
- Identify and analyze legal issues and present clear recommendations, while assuring legal compliance.
- Collaborate closely with other Firm attorneys.
- Supervise Associates and professional staff.
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
- Candidates must be professional, dependable, hard-working, conscientious, and will have strong research, writing, oral communication, and team collaboration skills.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree from ABA accredited law school
- Admitted to practice or eligible to practice in the State of Oklahoma
